It's a common misconception that owners do not want their tenants to contact them when they have a maintenance issue. Many issues that occur around a home do not require a major expense but if neglected, could become a much larger problem.
Stay connected in your community:
As the end of your lease approaches it is important to be aware of what you are responsible for upon vacating your unit. The lease terms are enforced for the duration of the lease that you signed and were given a copy of upon move in (if you do not have a copy, please contact management). A 30-notice must be provided to management at lease 30 days before a tenant decides to vacate the premise. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding the move out.
There are 3 steps that must take place in order for us to return your security deposit:
1. All balances must be paid in full
2. A forwarding address is provided to management
3. The most important part of the move out process is returning the unit to the condition the unit was at when you moved in. The unit should be cleaned thoroughly, to the point that new tenant could move in the moment you leave.
After you have moved-out, your unit will be inspected by management. You will be mailed a check for the intial security deposit, less the move-out repairs plus unpaid balances. If you have any questions feel free to contact us.
